My Elegy is a shorter version of the composition of the same name on the Piping Hot recording. This abridged version is more suitable for church service use. The melody is based on the German hymn tune “Maria aufgenommen ist, Halleluja”.
This is an easy piece to play with simple melodic lines, slow harmonic progressions and “easy to reach” legato progressions.
