Blue for You is a slow, sad blues in D Minor.
Starting with a simple Blues melody, this piece builds and builds to a bigband “shout” before calming back down to a slow and haunting single melodic line as the piece draws to a close.
Difficulty level: with its 12/8 time signature and big block chords in both hands, this is a tricky little number!
Something very different to show off your instrument’s capabilities. Works well in a large acoustic.
